temperament, solid nerve and a very good balance of working
drives. Axel is social, friendly and biddable which is a strong trait
that his dam lines are known to produce. He is very playful and
enjoys interaction with people and other dogs.
Axel is also a very nicely conformed male as can be seen by his
photos. Standing at 67 cm, he is a large dog, substantial and well
boned dog like his siblings and what we would have expected his
sire and dam lines to produce. His head piece is stunning and he
possesses the dark eyes, flat broad topskull, short wide muzzle and
and large correct earset that his sire, Axel vom Calibra and
grandsire, Matcho vom Burgthann, are known to produce. Despite
his beauty, Axel cannot compete in the conformation venue due
to two teeth he knocked out during play as a youth.
Axel is proudly owned by Officer Kevin Moore of Rochester, NY
who is currently training him for SAR and detection work.
